I can help you realize that special moment, from its preparation up to your D-day, with counseling choosing readings, prayers, and blessings.

Who are you?

As a French priest who lived in the US, I’m surprised how couples face difficulties when wanting to organize their wedding outdoors in France. I therefore decided to offer that service and help Bride and Groom to prepare their wedding ceremony and preside over it.

I was ordained a priest in 1998 in Marseille (Southern France). Three years ago I got married and was withdrawn my catholic accreditation. However I continue to offer my skills and experience to couples who do not want a secular ceremony because it lacks depth, solemnity, spirituality, but instead seek to organize a traditional wedding ceremony. I bring them my skills as a priest, along with my experience to elaborate with them a ceremony that connects with them and resembles them, with understandable expressions, rites, and symbols, in an atmosphere of emotion, prayer, communion. I’m offering not a wedding planner service, but my expertise in adapting the ceremony to the Bride and Groom’s personalities, values, and wishes, and leading a meaningful moment of commitment and profound joy.

Would that ceremony be official?

No. Neither could it replace the civil wedding, nor could it stand for the Catholic Sacrament that only takes place in a parish church. In France, an outdoor wedding will not be registered on parish records.

What are your fees ?

1250 euros for a bilingual ceremony or a ceremony in English, plus travel expenses :
– 0,69 euros per kilometer (Union des Caisses Nationales de Sécurité Sociales), road tolls;
– 0.46 €/km if I travel by aircraft or train (more than 500 km),
– car renting 114€ (void if you can come pick me up at the airport and drive me back for return flight)
– hotel room 107 €, sleepover allowance 92 €; these last two (107 + 92) can be avoided if I can be back home the same day.
– If you need, I can bring a portable sound system, for 180€ ; it is an autonomous system on lithium battery, perched on a speaker-stand, equipped with a wireless microphone, a head microphone, a socket for USB key; the system is controllable by Bluetooth from a telephone.
